Cynthia Rowley dressed Girls star Zosia Mamet for this week's big CFDA Awards, and to make the evening even more special for Mamet, the designer gave her black and gold spring 2012 dress a custom high-to-low hemline! "The skirt was longer, and she has such great legs that we chopped it off in front," Rowley told InStyle.com. "We’ve already seen her with no pants on in Girls so it’s OK." Mamet loved Rowley's alterations. "I’m a rather short individual, so I can’t wear anything that’s super short or to the ground," Mamet said. Sounds like this silhouette was the perfect compromise!
