Happy birthday, Cybill Shepherd! The actress turns 65 today. Formerly a model, she landed her first role in The Last Picture Show, alongside Jeff Bridges, when director Peter Bogdanovich discovered her on the cover of a magazine. The Memphis-born beauty went on to star in more critically acclaimed films, The Heartbreak Kid and Taxi Driver, but it was the TV show Moonlighting (with Bruce Willis) that defined her career and earned her two Golden Globes. She won a third award for Cybill, a '90s show based loosely on her own life. Shepherd and her daughter, Clementine, played mother and daughter in the Showtime show The L Word. Outside of Hollywood, Shepherd is an outspoken activist, most notably for gay rights. In honor of her birthday, we're looking through decades worth of memorable white shirt moments, including Shepherd's timeless look.
