When Ciara took her front row seat at the Coach fall/winter 2016 show at New York Fashion Week, we did a double take. Didn't we just see her grace the red carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles less than 24 hours ago? Oh, the bicoastal life. "Right after the Grammys, I got on a plane, literally two hours later," she nonchalantly told us.

Clearly, the star is not a stranger to the coast-to-coast journey. And she's got tried-and-true survival tips to prove it. "Tons of water," she insisted. "And if you're on a red-eye, make sure you sleep the whole flight. And because I can't have my glam squad in my purse, I carry concealer for a lift when my eyes feel heavy."

But, she admitted that she did want to sleep in the car earlier, just for 20 minutes or so. "But I decided not to because I feared that I'd wake up with so many lines under my eyes," she said. "But honestly, I'm so happy to be here today, and I'm super excited to see what Stuart [Vevers] is going to do today."

And since her Grammys look is still fresh in our minds (we mean, c'mon, her Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture gown with that dangerously high slit is pretty unforgettable), we had to ask: How do you prevent a wardrobe malfunction?

"Don't move too much," she laughed. "The less movement, the better!"
