Although Youth in Oregon is a dark comedy about a man (Billy Crudup) driving his father-in-law (Frank Langella) cross-country to Oregon in the hopes of getting euthanized, Christina Applegate, who also has a role in the flick, was all smiles when talking about her own family at the movie’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere this weekend.
Applegate, who donned a light blue Vionnet dress on the carpet, told InStyle about her yearly Mother’s Day plans: "We do the same thing every Mother’s Day, which is what I like to do. We have a picnic on our front lawn, we call it ‘French lunch’ because we get a beautiful plate of artisan cheese platters and gorgeous salad and red wine, and my daughter runs around."
The actress also spoke to InStyle about another upcoming project she has been working on (funnily titled Bad Moms) which she described as "the best!" The comedy is scheduled to be released later in 2016 with Applegate and an all-star cast (including Mila Kunis, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn, to name a few), ‘It’s extraordinary for six women to get along that beautifully, every single day," Applegate said. "It was pretty special, I felt like I won the lottery."
