Chrissy Teigen is a total foodie, but some of her favorite joints to hit up are actually quite affordable. Take Outback Steakhouse, for example: Earlier this year, the model invited Outback chefs into her home to teach her the secret Bloomin’ Onion recipe, and now she’s making headlines with the restaurant chain for a second time.
Teigen visited an Outback in Centerville, Ohio, last week and gave one lucky waitress the biggest tip of her life. 21-year-old Mikaya Scott told the Associated Press that she was nervous serving the model, who was there along with her 1-year-old daughter Luna and several friends, but once the posse left, she found that Teigen had left her a $1,000 tip.
“I was like, ‘Oh my god, praise the Lord,” she told the AP, saying that she used some of the money to fix her family’s car and shared some of it with her co-workers.
Teigen’s husband, John Legend, is from nearby Springfield, and the couple had returned to his hometown that night for a local high school football game.
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Chrissy any more, she proves she has a heart of gold.
