Chris Pratt is a man of his word! After losing to Chris Evans in a Super Bowl XLIX bet when the New England Patriots beat his team, the Seattle Seahawks, Pratt made good on his promise to the Captain America star today.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor donned his Star-Lord costume from the film and paid a visit to Evans's chosen charity, Christopher’s Haven, a Boston organization that provides homes and support to kids fighting cancer and their families. Both stars took the trip together and spent several hours posing with fans, giving autographs, and handing out toys.
And while we're sure Pratt didn't enjoy his team's loss, he did had a good time visiting the young fans (though he didn't sport a Tom Brady jersey as Evans had hoped). He posted pictures to his Facebook page with the caption: "Made good on that #twitterbowl bet! Starlord is proud to be in Boston today at #Christopher's Haven with Chris Evans and some awesome families. #12thMan."
But in the spirit of giving back, Evans also agreed to stop by the Seattle Children’s Hospital dressed as Captain America. And there's more good news: the duo's #Twitterbowl 2015 challenge raised $12,000 for Christopher's Haven and $15,000 for the Seattle Children's Hospital. It looks like everyone won this bet.
