Talk about smoking hot! Last night, Keri Russell stepped out for the New York City premiere of her latest film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes at Williamsburg Cinemas. The actress stunned in an all-black ensemble, which included a sheer lace top, peekaboo bralette, coated asymmetrical jeans, and pointed leather pumps. To complete her utterly chic look, Russell rocked tousled waves, a darkly lined eye, and a light pink lip—the star couldn't have looked any better.
In the action flick, which also features Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, and Gary Oldman, Russell plays a nurse tasked with keeping alive the few surviving people on earth as a war rages between them and a nation of genetically evolved apes. "These kind of big movies are not where I live, or think where I am best. But this film is massive and beautiful," Russell tells InStyle. "It’s amazing being a part of something that my son [River, 7] would eventually want to watch."
After the 20th Century Fox-hosted screening, the actress topped off her evening with a party celebrating the movie at Sheltering Sky, the rooftop of the McCarren Hotel. While the star made jaws drop with her red carpet look, she prefers to keep things casual in her day-to-day life; however, she does admit a love for clothes. "As I get older I appreciate and get more comfortable with fashion. I didn’t grow up with it. And the truth is, I’m the mom of two kids," Russell says. "I wear the same outfit for a month straight, then switch out. There's just no time!"
