We’ve grown accustomed to seeing South African actress Charlize Theron step out in Dior gowns on the red carpet—she’s been the face of the brand’s fragrance campaigns for years—but the blonde beauty changed it up Friday afternoon at the Cannes Film Festival while promoting her latest film, The Last Face.
Rocking a platinum ‘do that mimics Kristen Stewart’s fresh cut, Theron turned to Givenchy for a frilly, sleeveless white dress with ruffled lace detailing, along with a matching sleek leather belt. The frock's off-white, almost peach tone is simply gorgeous for spring and offers a sharp contrast to her black ankle-strap sandals and the oversize shades she carried by hand.
Don’t think posing for the cameras was an easy feat, though. The star’s go-to stylist, Leslie Fremar, shared a funny image of Theron lounging in bed moments before her outing. “Get up we have to go,” she captioned the ‘gram, where the actress rests on fluffy pillows and rocks a pink pair of shades.
Good thing Fremar got her out the door.
