It’s no secret that Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum are major members of the Beyhive. From the Magic Mike star’s epic performance with Bey on Lip Sync Battle to the couple’s adorable ‘gram from Queen Bey’s concert—decked out in an Ivy Park tank, no less—their love of Beyoncé is well-documented.
But what happens when you bring Channing, a tall and hunky (male) Hollywood star, to a Beyoncé concert filled with screaming girls? Jenna told InStyle how that night really went down.
“It was funny going to a Beyoncé concert with Chan when you realize 99 percent of the audience is female,” she said. “Initially, he might have felt a little out of place, and then, I mean, he’s as big of a Beyoncé fan as I am, so we had a good time.”
That wasn’t the only time Jenna went to see Bey perform on her Formation World Tour. “I went the first time with my best friend, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and we danced so hard that we were sore the next day,” Danskin’s new ambassador said. “It is absolutely the best concert I’ve ever seen in my life. She is so incredibly talented.”
“There are really not a lot of artists that I can think of that have the same energy and attack and force that she has on stage. It’s so amazingly awesome to watch, and she’s also the nicest human being in the world, so you just have the best of everything with Beyoncé. I will forever be her fan.”
We couldn’t agree more.
