Celine Dion is perfect and no one will ever be able to convince us otherwise. She’s one of the world’s most acclaimed talents, yet she’s still so humble and always eager to please her fans.

Case in point: The Canadian powerhouse was in concert at Las Vegas’s Caesar’s Palace on Wednesday when she decided to perform a never-before performed song for her audience.

Dion shyly and graciously introduced the song, saying, “I’m very nervous and very excited at the same time. 25 years ago I was very fortunate to be a part of that magical movie Beauty and the Beast, and it was one of the biggest moments of my show business career actually. I’m so thankful. 25 years later, Disney asks me again if I would like to participate in the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast by recording another beautiful song. So if you put yourself in my shoes, I could not refuse!” We’re so glad she didn’t.

“This is new song is called ‘How Does a Moment Last Forever,’” she continued, “and I’d like to sing it for you in concert tonight for the very, very first time.”

What a treat! Did we mention, all this went down while the singer was giving her best Belle impression in a caped floor-length yellow gown with jeweled embellishments. Casting directors might want to look her way if another Beauty and the Beast remake ever emerges …
