Two weeks after Carrie Fisher passed away from a heart attack at age 60 and left the world a little less bright, Hollywood turned out to honor the star at an intimate memorial at her Hollywood Hills home.
On Thursday, Fisher's daughter Bille Lourd received 125 guests, including Meryl Streep, George Lucas, Meg Ryan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Courtney Love, Richard Dreyfuss, and Gwyneth Paltrow, as they paid their respects to the iconic actress.
In homage to the parties that the late Star Wars alum reportedly used to hold at the house, the guests were served fried chicken, cornbread, and collard greens as Lourd, Streep, Tracey Ullman, Bruce Wagner, and other close friends delivered eulogies at the emotional service. Later, according to People, Streep paid her respects to Fisher by singing her favorite song, "Happy Days Are Here Again."
