Celebrate the New Mad Men Season with This Classic Gin Cocktail

Shake up an old school drink this weekend when settling in to watch Sunday’s Mad Men premiere—the sort that a gaggle of Sterling Cooper work buddies might sip at the St Regis hotel’s King Cole Bar around the corner from the office after a long day of brainstorming Maidenform bra pitches. The posh cocktail lounge’s name, and the drink below, refer to the Maxfield Parrish mural that hangs over the carved oak bar. And don’t be intimidated by the garnish: burnt orange peel is easy to make (you can follow the easy how-to video here). And you can always just use the peel as a fresh twist, sans fire.
