These days, Cate Blanchett is an Academy Award-winning actress known just as well for her on-screen talent as she is for her risk-taking style and timeless good looks. But that wasn't always the case. A video recently surfaced of Blanchett on the Australian variety show Hey Hey It's Saturday, and the star is barely recognizable. 

In the four-minute video, Blanchett takes part in a segment known as "Red Faces," where she sings a ditty called "Weird Love Song" along with a guitarist and a saxophonist. The actress wears a green jumper and sweats for the segment, with her blonde hair styled in a messy bob—quite the departure from the stylish sophisticate we've come to know and love today.
