It’s no secret that Cate Blanchett wholly embodies any film role she takes on, but, as she proves again and again, she's no less commanding on the red carpet. For a special Cinema Society- and Giorgio Armani-hosted screening of her latest film, Truth, inside New York’s Museum of Modern Art last night, the actress wowed in a muted red floral dress by Giorgio Armani that epitomized elegance.

Blanchett, however, wasn’t the only cast member on hand for the celebration. Actors Dermot Mulroney (above, left), Dennis Quaid (above, center left), and John Benjamin Hickey (above, right) were among the movie’s notables to sport their best sharply tailored suit and pose alongside director James Vanderbilt (above, center). Before the ultra-famous crew sauntered down the block for an evening party inside Armani Ristorante, supporters like Andy Cohen, Donna Karan, journalist Dan Rather, and Robert Redford (who portrays Rather in the news-related tale) also mingled together.
