Cara Delevingne may have switched her focus from the runway to the big screen, but she's back in the modeling game as Rimmel London's newest brand ambassador. The 23-year old multi-hyphenate star is joining the ranks of fellow top models Kate Moss and Georgia May Jagger who are also faces of the edgy and colorful British makeup brand.
“I’m honoured to be working with Rimmel London. It’s the first make-up brand I was introduced to as a teenager," Delevingne said in a statement about the new partnership. "I’m a London girl through and through and Rimmel London truly captures and represents the city’s edgy, cosmopolitan beauty styles.”
“Cara Delevingne is the perfect embodiment of the trend-setting Rimmel brand and its edgy, streetwise personality," Johanna Bussinelli, chief marketing officer of Colour Cosmetics at Coty (Rimmel's parent company) said. "With her bold, modern look, fierce fashion sense and confident stance that true beauty comes from within, Cara is globally admired for her individuality and self-expression. She will be a powerful addition to the brand, inspiring a new generation of women and showcasing a different facet of the eclectic London look.”
Rimmel is remaining tight-lipped about the details surrounding the model's campaign, but it's guaranteed to be quintessentially Cara. In the meantime, fans can ask her questions on Twitter using the hashtag #RimmelxCara and she'll answer her favorite ones live during Rimmel's Snapchat conference on April 15.
