There's something unmatchably fabulous that surrounds the Cannes International Film Festival. Perhaps it's the score of actresses channeling classic Hollywood style or perhaps it's the seaside views from the French Riviera. Despite the beauty of it all, the films are what keep revelers coming back each year.
The official line up of the 68th Cannes International Film Festival was announced this morning, and it's a celebrity-filled affair. Beauties Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron, and Emily Blunt are among the stars who'll walk the red carpet in celebration of their latest projects.
Portman will make her actress-director debut with A Tale of Love and Darkness while Stone and Joaquin Phoenix co-star in Woody Allen's mystery, Irrational Man. Anticipated features include Sea of Treasures (starring Naomi Watts and Matthew McConaughey), Mad Max: Fury Road (starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron), and Carol (with Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara).
The festival kicks off May 13 with Emmanuelle Bercot's La Tete Haute starring Catherine Deneuve.
