Last night the stars were out in full force at Brown Shoe’s 100th Anniversary Celebration of being on the New York Stock Exchange, where the footwear company marked the milestone which has only achieved by 23 other companies. Home to labels like Vince, Sam Edelman, Via Spiga, and Fergie Footwear, their brand's are well-known and loved all over the fashion world.
Held at 4 World Trade Center in New York City, the event included a special performance by Jennifer Hudson of her hits "Spotlight" and "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" that rocked the house, and DJ Kiss spun tunes throughout the evening. Aside from Hudson, other attendees included Fergie (who earlier in the day rang the Closing Bell at The New York Stock Exchange to celebrate Brown Shoe's achievement), recording artists Nelly and Estelle, along with designers Kenneth Cole and Sam and Libby Edelman. Guests were treated to bites like mini pizzas, soft pretzels, and an oyster bar, along with pomegranate margaritas and champagne to toast the company's major accomplishment.
