Brittany Snow was fashionably late to the Monique Lhuillier fall/winter 2015 show at New York Fashion Week, arriving literally seconds before the lights dimmed. But the Pitch Perfect star wouldn't have missed it for anything.

"I didn't even plan on doing fashion week because I'm here working, but I was like, 'I'll just go to Monique, and that's it,'" she tells InStyle post-show. "I love all of Monique's shows, and I love her clothes because they're so romantic yet effortless. There's detail in every single thing, and when you wear it, you really feel like a woman."

As guest of honor, Snow was outfitted in Monique Lhuillier, naturally, from her pretty pale pink chiffon dress to the jacket draped over both of her shoulders (that she shrugged off for the photo, above). The jacket, she insists, was a must: "It's freezing outside; I'm dying."

So what would she be wearing if she wasn't at the show?

"Well, earlier today I had everything on—jeans, a sweater, a jacket, hat, gloves, boots, the works," she offers as an example. "I didn't even care. I did not look cute. It was nine degrees this morning, and I was like: 'No, fashion is going to have to take a backseat to my warmth.'" We hear you, Brittany, but we think you look cute, always!
