Of all the types of people in the world, Britney Spears was clearly born to entertain. After announcing the two-year extension of her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency in September, the “Circus” and “Baby One More Time” singer returned to the stage last month to once more prove how she is indeed one of pop’s reigning queens, but to also show off her a newly revamped set of concert costumes.
People reports that Spears turned to stylist Soyon An—the woman behind some of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry’s most memorable outfits—for help in creating several new outfits that have us seriously considering a trip to Sin City, stat. To kick off the concert, the 34-year-old blonde greets fans in a midriff-baring getup that features a bright yellow, school girl–inspired crop top, a colorful oversize tie, green sparkly briefs with “kisses” written across them, sheer tights, and white leather over-the-knee boots (above).
“Britney wanted to take the costumes to the next level,” Soyon told People. “She looks better than ever and her body is in incredible shape. That means hotter, sexier costumes showing more leg, more midriff, more cleavage. The costumes on the new and improved show are the sexiest she’s worn.”
Soyon clearly wasn’t kidding. To show off her killer abs and toned legs, Spears also rocks a Nicolas Jebran-designed custom green camo bodysuit:
“We are also using more bodysuits than the previous iteration with a lot more stones and crystals," Soyon told People. "We wanted to create whole new worlds within the show for some of the new sections while giving new life to the sections that would remain intact from the previous version of the show."
Another favorite? A new black body suit with cutouts and crystalized embellishments (above), which she rocks with a floor-length LaBourjoisie cape.
Spears first kicked off her Vegas residency in 2013; we can’t wait to see how else she continues to bring it.
