Taylor Swift's girl squad knows no bounds. The pop phenom took some much needed time off to hang out with Blake Lively (and a couple of kangaroos) in Australia over the weekend. And luckily for us, she documented it all on Instagram.

"Yesterday was such an amazing day off—roller coasters, kangaroos, and LOLs with @blakelively," the Grammy-winner captioned a photo of her and Lively jumping for joy at Warner Bros. Movie World in Queensland (above). "See you tonight, Adelaide!"

Swift wasn't joking about the kangaroos either. The 25-year-old even commemorated her introduction to the native marsupial with a selfie. "I didn't know 'kangaroo selfies' were a thing. But they are and this is one," she joked in the caption of the photo of her and her new fuzzy friend mugging for the camera.

Apparently the bouncy little guys weren't as excited to meet the superstar singer and she was to meet them. Swift was able to shake off the snub, however, and captioned a photo of her reaching out to a disinterested kangaroo with, "Me: Please love me. Kangaroo: No."

Lively also shared a snap of her experience with Swift and a kangaroo. "Selfie game was strong ... until I got photobombed by some crazy fan," she captioned the Instagram post. "Where's security when you need it."
