When we were 3 years old, a date night with mom meant ice cream and maybe a movie. For Blue Ivy Carter, however, a night out with mom Beyoncé, means hanging out backstage at a Janet Jackson concert.

Beyoncé, 34, and her mini-me were at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., this weekend for the Los Angeles leg of Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour, where they were invited backstage to meet Jackson's team of young dancers.

One of the dancers, 12-year-old Taylor Hatala, posted a snap of herself and another dancer with Queen Bey and adorable little Blue to her Instagram account. In it, Beyonce and Blue look ready to dance in matching white Converse sneakers.

"L.A. you were unbelievable last night!" the photo caption began. "Extremely grateful that I got the chance to meet @beyonce and her beautiful little girl Blue Ivy!!!!! You are so INCREDIBLY KIND AND INSPIRING!!! Thank you for everything!! It was so amazing meeting you!! MY HEART IS FULL."

Last year the mother-daughter duo dressed up as Janet and Michael Jackson for Halloween (below), so seeing the pair enjoying themselves at the concert came as no surprise.

What costumes will they pick this year? Only time will tell.
