This seriously brought tears to our eyes.

It has been 15 years to the day since Aaliyah's extremely tragic death, but she has definitely not been forgotten by her friends, family, and fans. Beyoncé took to Instagram today to pay tribute to the beloved songstress on the anniversary of her passing, and the throwback video she shared only reminded us of how incredible and down to earth the late talent was.

In the clip, the former Destiny's Child member interviews the gorgeous Aaliyah on the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. The singers happily greet each other and discuss how excited they are to watch D'Angelo perform during the show. "He's fine, he's hot, he's sexy," Aaliyah says with a smile. You can watch the duo's full interview on YouTube.
