Bette Midler is up to the challenge—are you, Kim Kardashian West? The Hollywood icon took to social media Wednesday to weigh in on the now infamous nude selfie controversy with a fresh take on on the matter, and a very clear message for Kardashian: Put your selfie to work, for a good cause.
Taking to Instagram and Twitter to share her own brand of risque selfie, Midler posted a Photoshopped image of herself holding only a cardboard sign over her body, reiterating her challenge to the reality star. "Put your selfie to work...for a good cause! Donate, RT, I'll match $$ 2-1! "
Before tasking the mother of two with posting her nude selfies for charity, Midler did take a moment to respond to Kardashian's request via Twitter on Monday, in which she jokingly asked the now 70-year-old Midler for nudes.
"@KimKardashian wants me to send her my nudes! I'll send them right over but the lighting's bad right now since she threw all that shade," she wrote.

The two stars have been battling it out via Twitter the last few days after Midler criticized Kardashian for the naked snaps, writing that Kim would "have to swallow the camera" if she wanted people "to see a part of her we haven't yet seen."
Kardashian fired back recounting a time Midler sent her a gift, labeling her as "trying to be a fake friend."
While we hope this all-out Twitter war will result in less bickering and more charitable giving, Kardashian has yet to respond Midler's call-to-action.
