Banana Republic showed its new fall collection to fashion editors last week, and we're sharing the preview of what to expect next season with you! The upcoming fall collection includes the company's signature work-friendly basics, like tailored trousers and soft knits, as well as some new pieces like a gray leather jacket and pops of vibrant colors on purses and accessories. “The colors for fall were inspired by New England, where I have a house,” Simon Kneen, creative director of Banana Republic, told InStyle. “Don’t be afraid to mix colors—pair a bright yellow bag with a red belt.” But Kneen was careful not to let color overpower the traditional BR look. “The look is clean and simple,” he explained of the overall collection.
