Happy birthday to the late, great Ava Gardner! Today, the the Academy Award–nominated actress would have turned 93. She was best known for having starred in many big-name movies during the 1950s to the 1970s, including Show Boat (1951), The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952), The Barefoot Contessa (1954), On the Beach (1959), Seven Days in May (1964), The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean (1972), Earthquake (1974), and The Cassandra Crossing (1976).

Although she passed away in 1990 at the age of 67, we can't forget Gardner's iconic career, as she is still regarded today as one of classic Hollywood cinema's greatest leading ladies. Not to mention, she was also known for her undeniable good looks, sophisticated style, and high-profile marriages to Mickey Rooney and Frank Sinatra.
