Amy Poehler is one of our favorite comediennes here at the InStyle offices, and we don't seem to be alone in this opinion. Yesterday, the Parks and Recreation actress was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she couldn't have looked more pleased to receive it.

Poehler received the 2,566th star in Los Angeles. For the ceremony, she looked gorgeous in a floral-print dress with orange London Sharkie Kurt Geiger pumps, her hair styled in relaxed waves. Poehler was accompanied by her children, Archie, 7, and Abel, 5, as well as her parents. Co-star Rashida Jones spoke of her good friend before the unveiling, saying her "dear friend" has the "unique combination of boundless talent and unwavering integrity." We agree!

"It's very exciting to think about being honored that way, among all those names," she said at the ceremony. "There's really no joke to be made about it for me. I was genuinely touched. The first thing I thought of was, 'I can't wait to tell my parents.'"
