It looks like George and Amal Clooney are going to need a babysitter come May 19, because the human rights lawyer’s hairstylist may have confirmed a big detail about the royal wedding. Miguel Perez, who is responsible for Clooney’s bouncy blowouts, revealed that he’ll be responsible for Amal’s locks on May 19, seemingly confirming that she scored an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
“What I can confirm is that I will be in charge of Amal’s hair that day,” he told Hola!. Perez was rumored to be doing the bride’s hair on the day of the royal wedding, but he shut down the reports on Instagram. "There is a fake news that I am doing the royal wedding, I can confirm I did not even meet Meghan," he wrote.
While he won't be doing the future duchess's hair, he did reveal how he’d advise Markle to style her locks. “I would leave it loose for the ceremony and then I would do an updo for the party,” he said.
Markle, as we know, as been a big fan of updos for royal engagements, rocking many a messy bun while out and about with her fiancé, so it wouldn’t be too surprising should she choose to go that route on her wedding day.
As for her makeup, Markle’s former makeup artist Lydia Sellers told People that she’ll let her natural freckles show. “I think Meghan will go with a classic, timeless look similar to what we have seen her wear lately,” she said. “Natural, dewy-looking skin, with her freckles peeking through, a sheer pink lip and a daytime smoky eye with beautiful volume in her lashes.”
Translation? She’s going to look gorgeous.
