Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney's wedding may have been attended by some of the most fashionable names in the industry (hello, Cindy Crawford and Emily Blunt), but none were better outfitted for the weekend than the bride herself. The London-based barrister amped up her usually classic, demure style for the festivities in four glamorous ensembles, each one better than the last.
Alamuddin and Clooney made it legally official Monday morning, when they ended their lavish wedding weekend with a civil ceremony (as is the law in Italy). For the occasion, the bride donned cream wide-leg trousers and a matching cropped cream top by Stella McCartney, as well as a matching wide-brimmed sun hat and cream clutch (above, left). The previous morning, the couple looked head-over-heels in love as they headed to a post-wedding brunch at the Hotel Cipriani. Alamuddin wore a romantic Giambattista Valli couture dress with long sleeves and flowers strewn across the bodice (above, right).
On Friday, the bride-to-be arrived in Venice, Italy, for the wedding festivities in a black-and-white striped Dolce & Gabbana midi dress, which she paired with bow-adorned sling-back heels, oversized sunnies, a hat box bearing the logo "A&G," and her sparkling engagement ring (above, right). That evening, the Lebanese beauty stepped out for an all-girls fête in a stunning red and black Alexander McQueen evening gown with a high-low hemline that showed off her long legs (above, left).
There are no photos yet of the gown Alamuddin wore for the ceremony, although WWD reports that the bride said "I do" in Oscar de la Renta. One thing's certain: If her festive weekend ensembles are any indication, the wedding gown will be one for the books.
