We knew that Allison Williams was a big fan of The Bachelor, but we didn't realize just how deep her connection to the hit TV series actually was. The Girls star was a special guest on last night's episode of Chris Harrison's Bachelor Live after show, where she revealed that not only did she meet her husband Ricky Van Veen at a viewing party for The Bachelor, but he also popped the question at the same place as the gatherings.
"I would not be married to my husband if it weren't for this show. We went to a weekly viewing party every week, and it was like a big group date, but with both genders equally distributed," Williams shared. "It was how we met up."
Harrison then prompted her for more details, and she revealed that Van Veen actually proposed at the same spot that they held the parties. "So where the viewing party is, is at my friend Lee Eisenberg's house," Williams continued. "And he has a couch where we always watch the show, and that's where Ricky proposed to me, was on Lee Eisenberg's couch."
We can only hope that his proposal involved a red rose. Watch the clip below.
