Who are they gonna call this time?
Director and writer Paul Feig officially confirmed via Twitter yesterday that an all-female reboot of Ghostbusters is currently in the works, and we couldn't be more excited.
It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call.— Paul Feig (@paulfeig) October 8, 2014
Feig, who directed Bridesmaids, will be teaming up with The Heat writer Katie Dippold, so we're pretty confident that this film will be downright hilarious. So who will they cast? That's still as mysterious as the ghosts they'll be fighting, but we've already started brainstorming which leading ladies we'd like to see take in the film.
Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy proved that their on-screen chemistry is next to none in Bridesmaids, so we think that they'd be able excellent choices for the reboot--but they're not the only ones.
Tina Fey and Mindy Kaling would also be fabulous picks for the ghostubusting leads, as proven by their countless hilarious roles both on the big and small screen.
