We never miss an episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, but while we've been entranced by his past guests (One Direction or Justin Bieber, anyone?), it's safe to say that his latest ride-along may have been his best yet. On Wednesday night, Corden aired the Carpool Karaoke episode with none other than Adele, and we aren't the only ones completely blown away by the songstress's performance.
In addition to singing some of her own tunes during the car ride, including "Hello" and "Someone Like You," Adele also sang some of her favorite hits. Just when we thought she couldn't impress us more, not only did Adele sing along to the Spice Girls's "Wannabe," she also showed off her rapping skills to Nicki Minaj's "Monster." And as it turns out, her cover didn't go unnoticed.
"Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!! #Adele #Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #IcoNic I cried when she waved by to the careers #Hello #BuhBye," Minaj captioned an Instagram video of Adele's performance, along with a series of emojis.
But Minaj wasn't the only one who enjoyed Adele's gripping in-car performance. The Spice Girls's Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice) as well as Harry Styles of One Direction both tweeted their appreciation.
Brilliant. One of the worlds greatest ever voices. She was good too. https://t.co/dWeIrQRKvx— Harry Styles. (@Harry_Styles) January 14, 2016
