Say "Hello" to Adele and "Bye, Bye, Bye" to *NYSNC: The pop star's new album 25 just broke the boy band's single-week U.S. album sales record in just four days.
Billboard reports that 25 has sold 2.43 million copies since it dropped on Friday, trumping the group's previously held record for No String's Attached, which sold 2.416 million in its first week back in March 2000. Can you say girl power? The final numbers for the album's first week of sales will be reported on Sunday, but we have a feeling that Adele is poised to break even more records. After all, when the singer released the music video for “Hello," it racked up more than 50 million views in 48 hours.
Adele has been busily promoting 25. This week alone she's appeared on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show, all while fitting in time to hang out wit her new besties Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone. The singer will also perform live on the Today Show tomorrow.
