These days, a music festival is only as good as its food vendors. And Panorama, aka the East Coast Coachella, is bringing an impressive lineup—music-wise and food-wise—to New York City's Randall's Island for the second year in a row next weekend. Along with headliners including Frank Ocean, Solange, and A Tribe Called Quest will be specialty items from Salvation Taco, Roberta's Pizza, and OddFellows Ice Cream Co. (because what's better than watching your favorite band with a cone of your choosing?). Here's what we're excited to eat (and hashtag #eeeeats).
VIDEO: The Real Cost of Going to Coachella
1. LOCO COCO'S PITAYA BOWL
Made with pitaya (dragon fruit), mango, strawberry, hemp milk, and topped with mango, strawberries, grapes, and hemp seed, this bowl from N.Y.C.-based vegan restaurant Loco Coco is the healthiest option available.
2. ODDFELLOW'S ICE CREAM
The cult-favorite Brooklyn ice cream shop is offering its homemade flavors for $5/single scoop and $7/double scoop.
3. MATCHABAR'S ICED MATCHA LEMONADE
Equal parts caffeinated and refreshing, MatchaBar's matcha-lemonade hybrid is the ultimate afternoon pick-me-up in the blazing sun.
4. SALVATION TACO'S CHICKEN TINGA TACOS
Three of Salvation Taco's shredded chicken tacos tossed in salsa and sprinkled with queso are undoubtedly better than one.
5. ROBERTA'S PIZZA'S MARGHERITA PIZZA
People queue up for hours for a taste of this Brooklyn pizzeria's wood-fired pies. The margherita, with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, is delicious in its simplicity.
