If you think no wedding celebration is complete without cake, then why limit yourself to just one? Indeed, going with more makes economic sense when you use cakes to decorate the tables at your reception. Atlanta event planner Tony Conway, who designed Toni Braxton's wedding, suggests placing a group of small cakes on pedestals at the center of each table instead of flowers. For the thrifty bride, cakes can even do triple duty, serving as favors once they're cut.
