When it comes to engagement rings, some stars are opting not to be well-rounded, by choosing oval-shaped diamonds. Tom Cruise, Keith Urban and Jerry O'Connell all proposed with these stones, which have more facets than round ones. The extra facets, says Zaven Ghanimian of Simon G., maker of O'Connell's fiancée Rebecca Romijn's ring, create added shine.
