There must be something in the water. Lance Armstrong recently proposed to Sheryl Crow in a fishing boat in Sun Valley, Idaho, and after Kevin Costner wed Christine Baumgartner on their ranch in Aspen, he took her for an impromptu canoe ride on a lake on the property. "It was so romantic," she says. "We were able to have our own moment together." Singer Jack White of the White Stripes got even more creative: He exchanged vows with model Karen Elson in a canoe in the Brazilian Amazon basin. "People associate water with relaxation and romance," says Yifat Oren, who planned Costner's nuptials. What better way to celebrate a commitment?
