We unveil inspiring ideas culled from celebrity weddings from Spring 2005
Instead of heading off on a honeymoon, many couples, such as Joey Fatone and Kelly Baldwin, choose to visit with friends and family on the day after their wedding. "It doesn't seem right to some newlyweds to spend only a short time with their guests at the reception," says Los Angeles event designer Yifat Oren, who planned a brunch at Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner's Aspen retreat for the morning following their nuptials. Next-day festivities "allow for proper good-byes," Oren says. Who cares if the "just married" sign on your getaway car isn't quite current?
