Joy: The emotion evoked by well-being, success or good fortune. Joy: The role on My Name Is Earl that garnered Jaime Pressly an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Throughout her model/actress career, Pressly has dabbled in different roles and hairstyles. "She adapts to different characters, utilizing her hair as part of the evolution," says her hairstylist, Sean James. In her breakout role as Joy, which she calls "the most colorful part I've ever played," she has yet another on-screen look: ultra-voluminous hair. "She would never really wear her hair like Joy—she prefers very classic, sophisticated looks," says James. Joy fans will be glad to see her back on the small screen in September, when Earl returns for its second season.
