Stylish stars are zipping up in tailored looks with chunky fasteners. Jessica Alba wore a simple Lanvin dress to a recent awards show. "Alber Elbaz pioneered the whole exposed zipper thing at Lanvin," says stylist Rachel Zoe. She put her client Molly Sims in a Rachel Roy top with an exposed gold zipper. "It just adds edge to certain pieces," says Zoe. "I love a classic chic dress and then an exposed zipper in the back." And there's also the sexy factor. "Well," says Zoe, "it alludes to a lot, a zipper."
