After greeting Maggie Grace with a hug, Lauren Graham got down to the business of dining at the Max Mara party, choosing from a sampling of appetizers that included swordfish skewers, fried risotto balls and steak on toast. The evening's menu was planned by Food Network star Giada DeLaurentiis, who also whipped up a dinner of spaghetti with pinot grigio and seafood rotelli with walnut sauce, and filet mignon in balsamic syrup. The light summer fare was followed by chocolate anise biscotti, coffee and raspberry tiramisu served family style. As for her chic Max Mara suit, Graham wouldn't take credit. “My manager picked it out for me, it’s come to that. I’m just really busy and he’s really into fashion," she admitted. He said, ‘You should wear this suit.’ And I did! Isn’t that nice? Full service, right?”
