Karl Lagerfeld
and Kate Bosworth

"We don't need art, but we cannot live without it," declared Karl Lagerfeld at the opening of Chanel's Mobile Art pavilion in New York City's Central Park. Kate Bosworth, Sarah Jessica Parker and Eve were among the designer's devotees who made their way inside artist Zaha Hadid's extra-terrestrial modular museum to get a first look at installations inspired by Chanel's iconic 2.55 quilted handbag. And though the exhibit will only stay a short while in New York before moving on to London, Moscow and Paris, "Everything Chanel is timeless," Bosworth mused.
