Though she's taken herself out of the running to win any trophies, Eva Longoria-Parker (in Gustavo Cadile) announced that she'll still act as host and executive producer of the 2008 ALMA Awards when she presided over the nominee announcements in Hollywood. "Everybody knows Desperate Housewives, let's recognise the people that you may not know on certain shows," Longoria-Parker said from the Wisteria Lane set on the Universal Studios backlot. The ALMA awards will air September 12th on ABC.
