While the press descended on mega-producer/director JJ Abrams and his relatively unknown young cast at the premiere of the much-anticipated thriller, Cloverfield, celebrity couple Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson tried to go unnoticed on the red carpet of L.A.'s Paramount Studios lot. L.A. was transformed into New York City for the occasion, with a headless Statue of Liberty taking center stage.
