Robert Verdi

Socialites, art lovers and fashion fans gathered at New York City's Guggenheim museum to toast the latest artist-driven collaboration from Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs. The designer displayed his latest offering, an ironic yet glamorous collection of accessories co-created with photographer Richard Prince. At least one guest had the canceled Golden Globes ceremony on his mind. "You're the tenth person to say that to me that today," said celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, when asked if he was following David Letterman’s lead and growing whiskers in support of the Writer's Guild of America. "It's not a strike beard but I'm going to say yes because it might make me more popular. So, Yes. Yes it is."
