"It's like Narnia in here," quipped Vanessa Carlton, who graciously agreed to serve as the evening's after-dinner entertainment for the fashionable crowd at ACRIA's 12th annual holiday dinner, presented by In Style and the Urban Zen Initiative. Carlton (in Vera Wang) belted out songs from her latest CD, Heroes & Thieves, as well as beloved hits like "White Houses" and "A Thousand Miles," as guests mingled in the Stephen Weiss Studio, transformed into a winter wonderland complete with silver-y weeping willow canopies, matching silver-painted driftwood that served as flashy table centerpieces, and digitalized snowfall projections.
