Madonna and Shimon Peres
In Jerusalem, Madonna declared herself an "ambassador for Judaism" when she met Israeli President Shimon Peres. The Material Girl and husband Guy Ritchie (not pictured) were in Israel to attend a conference on Kabbalah over the Rosh Hashana holiday weekend. Other celebrities who flew in for the event included Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
