At the 2005 VMAs, Kelly Clarkson won awards for Best Female video and Best Pop video for her smash hit "Since U Been Gone." But it was on the red carpet where she really made her mark. Wearing a gold bias-cut halter dress from L.A. vintage boutique Paper Bag Princess, Clarkson looked stylish and elegant. "It was a custom-designed silk charmeuse dress from the early 80's," says the boutique's owner, Elizabeth Mason, who works with Clarkson and her stylist Emma Trask on a regular basis. "There was a simplicity to it. She looked effortlessly glamorous. Kelly’s style is eccentric and comes from a personal place. She looked amazing."
