Though Texan Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker played it coy when first asked about their relationship—which began in November 2004—the couple was more than happy to disclose the details of their engagement two years later. "I wanted the proposal to be very special, and a surprise for her," said Parker, who flew from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles to pop the question to the Desperate Housewife when she arrived home from work. "I was shocked to see him...I thought it was so weird, sort of, 'Why are you here? What's going on? Oh my God! It's happening!'" Longoria told People magazine. "I cried my eyes out." The couple will seal the deal in July when they walk down the aisle in Parker's native France.
