Salma Hayek was her usual dazzling self—but was happy to let the jewelry designs take center stage—at Latin American jeweler Colette Steckel’s store launch party in L.A. The opening celebration of Steckel’s flagship U.S. store on Melrose Place was held at hot spot Republic, where guests like Hayek, Brooke Burke and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon soaked up the atmosphere of live music and an interactive runway show, and snacked on delectable dishes like beef carpaccio crostinis and seared ahi tuna tataki, prepared by Republic’s executive chef, Arturo Paz.
