Beyoncé joined Eve, Woody Allen, Natasha Richardson and Kenneth Cole to honor the leaders of the fight against AIDS at an annual amFAR gala benefit at Cipriani in New York City. Among those singled out for their efforts were Sharon Stone, Whoopi Goldberg and Dr. Mathilde Krim. Beyoncé presented the award to MTV's Bill Roedy. "It's so wonderful when people use all of their success for bigger things," said the songstress, who traveled to Africa as part of an MTV documentary last year.
